Faculty Invited To Attend Sexual Assault Awareness Training
Sexual assault awareness training will be available to faculty on November 18 and 19. Please consider becoming part of the growing network of supportive faculty and staff and reserve your place early.

Dear Colleagues:
As you may know, November 15 marks the beginning of Sexual Assault Awareness 2004, a week of campus-wide events aimed at educating students on issues related to sexual assault. As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Week, the University of Cincinnatis Womens Center (UCWC) is offering two faculty trainings on how to respond to student disclosures of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and stalking.
You may have had, at some point, students in your classes who were affected by gender and/or sexual violence. Knowing how best to support them is important in helping them be successful in their education and in their healing process.
Topics covered:
University of Cincinnati protocol for responding to sexual violence
Tips on effectively responding to disclosures
Resources available on campus and in the community
What you can do as faculty to help promote a Just community, free of sexual and gender violence
