Temporary Wireless (Wi-Fi) Service Request

Users can request temporary 802.11 wireless services for areas that have no wireless coverage.  If wireless service is needed for special events such as symposiums, seminars, workshops, etc., users can request wireless service for the duration of the special event.  Temporary wireless requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event to allow for a wireless survey and necessary cable pulls.

The rates for temporary wireless are as follows:

• 802.11g access point ---------- $50.00 per access point per day
• Survey technician --------------- $50.00 for Survey
• Cable pull ------------------------- $275.00 per cable pull
