OSHA Hazard Communication training is provided to all employees who work directly with hazardous chemicals and for those who may be exposed to hazardous chemicals through their occupations or work environments. This training is required both at the time of initial work assignment and at least every twelve months thereafter.
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training is required for all employees who have a reasonably anticipated exposure to human blood and other potentially infectious materials. This training is required both at the time of initial work assignment and at least every twelve months thereafter.
EPA Hazardous Waste training is provided for employees who work with or handle hazardous waste, respond to emergencies involving hazardous waste, and for those who complete hazardous waste manifests.
Lecture Courses
Certified EH&S staff members conduct training on a variety of topics. Choose one of our quarterly open training sessions or call our OSHA Compliance Officer at 556-4968 to schedule a private training session for your department.
OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and OSHA Hazard Communication training courses are presented quarterly for the University Community. The course schedule for the next training period has not yet been finalized.
