President Pinto's Challenge

President Pinto is challenging every college and unit across UC’s campuses to assemble a Ride Cincinnati team to help the university pedal its way toward life-saving cancer research and care.

Thanks to your participation last year, we had 24 colleges and units participating with 39 riders who raised $21,000 from 328 donors!

This year, we want to increase across all categories and need your help meeting this presidential challenge to send at least one bicycle rider from every college and every unit. Again, each area will compete to raise funds for their rider(s). We are excited to announce that each rider who register by July 31 will receive a custom UC-branded cycling jersey thanks to the generosity of Horn Legend, a boutique lifestyle brand specializing in limited edition, custom luxury apparel and curated accessories.

Ride Cincinnati takes place Saturday, September 14, so please share this challenge with your teams, and get signed up on the Ride Cincinnati website using the instructions listed below. All funds benefit the UC Cancer Center and support cancer research, education and care.

Current UC students, faculty and staff can also sign up as a virtual rider and use UC's Campus Recreation Center (CRC) stationary or spin bikes (regardless of membership status) to accomplish their Ride Cincinnati goal. The CRC on Uptown West Campus will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on September 14.
