Abstract Submission

The conference planning committee is soliciting presentation abstracts for the 2025 Big Ten and Friends Utility Conference.

If you have a success story, lesson learned, or valuable insights to share, consider presenting or joining a panel discussion. Abstract submissions are now open for topics of interest to the utilities community, including Sustainability, Operations, Success Stories, Fuel, Emerging Technologies, and more.

Submit your abstract ideas through the link below. This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and connect with peers in the utilities field.

Please note:

  • Abstract submissions are accepted only from universities. If you are a consultant/vendor, please request your university partner to submit the abstract as the primary presenter.
  •  Abstracts for forums and panels are also welcome.
  • Speakers will be considered attendees of the conference and are expected to pay their own travel expenses and registration fees.
  • Due to time constraints of determining topic placement, we are unable to accommodate specific date and time requests. Speakers must be available to present any day and time May 18-21.
  • Direct promotions of products, services, or monetary self-interest are not appropriate educational sessions. Our members are traditionally vocal in their displeasure with sessions that appear to be sales presentations or promotions.

Deadline for submission: April 1, 2025
