Digital Futures Student Parking

Parking Permit Policies

Students must purchase a permit at the beginning of each semester to park at the Digital Futures Garage.

Parking at Digital Futures allows for easy access to Main Campus via the UC Shuttle Transportation which will travel to and from Campus Green Garage. 

  • Available Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Only and estimated loop time of 5-7 minutes!

You may register for your semester parking on the following dates:

  • Summer semester - April 1
  • Fall semester - July 1
  • Spring semester - Dec. 1

Registration Details

Parking registration is required for all vehicles parking at Digital Futures
  • Vehicle make, model, color and license plate number are required at time of permit registration/purchase.
  • A seperate permit/keycard is required for the Digital Futures Garage which can be picked up at the Parking Services Office. This keycard will need to be returned at the end of the semester to avoid a fine.
  • Permit registration/purchase will be available online, or at the Parking Services Office, located at: 
    • 51 W. Corry Blvd., 4 Edwards Center, Cincinnati, OH 45221
    • Office hours: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday
    • Permit holder is responsible for updating license plate information through the parking portal

Billing

The cost of student parking permits will be added to the student's university billing account through Catalyst. This billing method is especially helpful for students who rely on financial aid.

  • UC student parking registration is $89/semester, and can be purchased via the parking portal, or at the Parking Services Office located at: 
    • 51 W. Corry Blvd., 4 Edwards Center, Cincinnati, OH 45221
    • Office hours: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday

Students can still pay the daily rate in the garage by credit card.

How to Return Your Permit Online

  1. Log in to the parking portal with your UC Central login
  2. Click on "View Your Permits"
  3. Select the current active permit
  4. Scroll to the bottom, and click on "Return Permit"
  5. Complete information, and click "Submit"
  6. Permit Details will display, and status will change to "Returned"

A refund will be issued to your university billing account through Catalyst. You will be required to sign up for direct deposit in Catalyst to receive your refund

Cancellations

The permit holder is responsible for notifying the Parking Services Office to cancel parking. If cancelled, the physical key card must be returned to the Parking Services Office, or you will face a fine.

Refunds for cancelled parking are made on a prorated basis. Permits must be returned to the Parking Services Office to receive a refund. Retroactive refunds are not offered for failure to terminate parking in a timely manner. The last day for student permit refunds are based on the following schedule:

  • Fall semester permits - Nov. 1
  • Spring semester permits - April 1
  • Summer semester permits - July 1
  • Summer short term permits - No refund after the first week of classes.

No refunds are issued for permits revoked due to misuse.

Parking on Other Campuses

When Digital Futures  permit holders must travel between campuses, limited use of a lot on another campus - reciprocity - is allowed. Guidelines for reciprocity and locations are outlined below.

  • Parking is limited, and not guaranteed. Available only when space permits
  • Limited to 2 hours, once per day between the hours of 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. in reciprocity areas, and weekend access in certain garages outlined below
  • No time limit during other hours of operation
  • Cannot park in reciprocity areas on the campus of your current permit
  • Reciprocity parking for Digital Futures student permits is as follows:
    • 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., 2-hour parking at the Clifton Lots, or on Panzeca Way behind Eden Garage (Medical Campus)
    • 3 p.m. Fridays to 7 a.m. Mondays, unlimited parking in Campus Green or Woodside Garage.
    • UC Blue Ash and UC Clermont College campuses for an unlimited number of hours
    • Victory Parkway Campus in the West, North and Cypress Lots
  • During special events, postings may be placed in the lots, indicating the need to use an alternate facility, when appropriate
  • Reciprocity parking is NOT available on UC Football Game Days
  • Any vehicles not linked to a permit will receive a citation
  • Citations will be issued to vehicles not attached to a permit or paid visitor parking.
