Academic Affairs
The Academic Affairs team at the University of Cincinnati is led by Keisha Love, PhD, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Adrian Hall, Associate Vice Provost for Accreditation and Curricular Operations, and Bryan Smith, PhD, Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs.
Together they manage curricular operations, continuous improvement efforts, student academic supports, accreditation and external reporting, and faculty development.
Undergraduate Affairs
The Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs is responsible for the general health and welfare of academic matters related to undergraduate education, student academic success and teaching and learning. The Associate Vice Provost is responsible for several university programs and offices including the Office of First Year Experience and Learning Communities, the Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, and the Learning Commons. In this role, the Associate Vice Provost also advocates and provides expertise for the colleges and student affairs offices related to these areas.
Accreditation and Curricular Operations
The Associate Vice Provost for Accreditation and Curricular Operations serves as the university’s Accreditation Liaison Officer to the Higher Learning Commission, and works to ensure that UC's curriculum is maintained through shared faculty governance processes in accordance with accreditation guidelines. The mission of the Accreditation and Curricular Operations team is to enable our faculty to create the best curriculum possible for our students while fulfilling compliance obligations.
