Joseph Lampton

Joseph Lampton is a second-year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his Master's in Foundations in Behavior Analysis in May of 2024. Before coming to the University of Cincinnati, he earned an associate's degree from Ivy Tech Community College and a bachelor's from Indiana University Columbus. 

Joseph is currently a Research Graduate Assistant for Associate Dean Tai Collins at the Graduate College. His research interests include promoting positive peer relationships through peer-mediated interventions, restorative practices in schools, and accommodating students with chronic illnesses. He is a co-author of a book chapter in the press (titled "Functional Behavioral Assessment" and will be a chapter to the book "Culturally-Informed Approaches to Behavioral and Emotional Assessment of Youth"). He has presented his research at the Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference and Midwest Psychological Association conferences. Additionally, he has been accepted for upcoming presentations at the American Public Health Association and National Association of School Psychologists conferences. 

Upon graduation, Joseph's current career goal is to pursue a school psychology faculty position to contribute to teaching and research.
