Jamar Beckham | Cincinnati, OH
Criminal Justice Major, Class of '18As an undergrad, Jamar was part of UC’s Gen-1 program, which allowed him to discover a family full of other students, staff and other members in the UC community. A home away from home, he says.
After graduating with a degree in criminal justice, Jamar worked as a paralegal, but he began to miss the campus community. So he returned to UC as a financial aid advisor, where he helps current and prospective students navigate financial aid. He plans to pursue his master’s degree in criminal justice at UC next year.
