Adaptive Athletics Day at the University of Cincinnati

We’re thrilled to invite local elementary, middle, and high school students to an exciting day celebrating adaptive athletics! This special event is packed with opportunities to explore adaptive sports, connect with local programs, and experience the incredible world of inclusive athletics.

Event Highlights

  • Learn About Adaptive Sports: Discover a wide range of athletic opportunities tailored to individuals with disabilities, including those who are deaf, blind, visually impaired, or have mobility disabilities.
  • Community Connections: Meet current athletes and representatives from local adaptive sports programs and learn how to get involved.
  • Try Racing Wheelchairs: Middle and high school students interested in track and field can test out racing wheelchairs and get tips on competing with their school teams. 
  • Cheer on UC Women’s Basketball: Enjoy an exciting game and with a halftime show featuring the Cincinnati Dragons, our local wheelchair basketball team!

🕑 Time:

  • Adaptive Athletics Expo in the Fifth Third Arena Atrium and Women's Basketball Game: 11:00am (reserved tickets required)
  • Track and Field Wheelchair Demonstration clinic: 10:30am (middle and high school students only, registration required)

Admission and Registration

Disabled Students and Families: The event is free to attend! However, we encourage a $5 donation per ticket to support the UC Adaptive Athletics Program. 

General Public: Tickets can be purchased through UC Athletics.
