Get To Know Tonia
Tonia teaches Dance Fusion here at UC Campus Rec Center! She is a bearcat through and through – she holds a Master of Science in Health and Wellness Management and B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from UC. She is eager to see the energy and enthusiasm of students, while creating a space for them to manage their stress, build confidence and prioritize fitness. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, strength training, practicing yoga and spending time with family and her pets. Her advice for someone new to group fitness is to: “1. Leave your worries at the door; 2. Bring a water bottle; 3. Take breaks; 4. Introduce yourself to others in class; and 5. Trust the process.”
