Group Fitness Class Registration

ALL group fitness classes REQUIRE registration. We understand this maybe a new process for some and want to provide as much guidance as possible; therefore, we created a dedicated page to help you understand the registration process, policies and procedures.

Registration Policies & Procedures

Please see below for information regarding our registration process! We understand this is new and we are here to help you through this transition. 

  • Registration opens 48 hours prior to the start of a given class.
  • Registration is REQUIRED to attend the class.
  • Registration closes 1 hour prior to the start of a given class.
  • If you do not arrive at least 2 minutes early you will be marked as a no-show and standby participants will be allowed into the class.

Suspension Protocol

Individuals who register for and miss two (2) classes within a given week (Sunday-Saturday) will receive a one-week suspension from ALL group fitness classes. To prevent suspension, please CANCEL your registration at least 1 hour before the start of the class if you are unable to attend.

Our policies are a preventative measure, rather than a penalty. The demand for our classes is very high, and no-shows limit other members from participating in classes which can impact one's experience with UC Campus Recreation.

Class Registration Process

Step 1: Accessing My Account

Go to the App Store or Google Play to download our app - UC Campus Recreation. 
 
This is essential for gaining access to our group fitness classes. If you are affiliated with UC, you MUST use your 6+2 email for this to work. For more information, navigate to our website: Member App
If you’re a student, faculty, or staff member:
  1. Click Forgot Password
  2. Enter your 6+2 email address
  3. Click the link and reset password
  4. Return to app and log in!

NOTE: Your username name will be the 6+2 of your email, not your entire email. 

If you’re a community member:
  1. Click Create Account
  2. Enter the email you have provided to Member Services upon joining to set up your account.
Having Issues Logging In?
If you cannot log in or have issues accessing your account, please email uccampusrec@ucmail.uc.edu and give a detailed description of the issues you are having. 

Step 2: Registering for Group Fitness Classes

  1. Log into the app using your username and password.
  2. Navigate and select the Classes icon on your homescreen.
  3. Select the date of which you would like to register for classes.
    1. Note: you can filter your search by Instructor and Class Name.
  4. Select Sign Up next to the class you would like to register for.
  5. Select Sign Up again and then Confirm to complete your registration.
  6. Have fun & enjoy class!

Cancelling a Registration

  1. Repeat Steps 1-3 from above.
  2. Select Edit next to the class you would like to unregister for.
  3. Select Unregister at the bottom of your screen and select it one more time to complete this process.

Navigate to the app homescreen and select My Schedule to view your personalized program schedule!
