Our Programs

Bearchats is a collection of affinity groups meant to act as a space for students to build community and dig deeper into their intersecting identities. These affinity groups will allow students to:

• Form lasting relationships with our office, as well as other students who share their intersecting identities and interests.
• Articulate struggles associated with their intersecting identities in a brave space.
• Learn ways to cope with struggles and skills to advocate for themselves.

The Council of Cultural Leaders (CCL) serves as a student-led advisory council designed to amplify the voices of students of color by providing a space of advocacy and support while providing a community and network of resources that may be relevant. CCL develops workshops and programs that seeks to engage students through developing leadership skills, personal growth, and community development.
