Hiya, Bearcats! As a proud Cincinnati native, it brings me great joy to serve in a city that was monumental in shaping my own identity. I grew-up on the west side before venturing to northwest Ohio to pursue my bachelor’s degree in education. My undergraduate experience was filled with incredible opportunities in New Student Orientation, Residence Life, Admissions, and even school spirit ending my college career as Freddie Falcon—BGSU’s beloved mascot! These impactful moments cemented my passion for higher education, leadership, and service paving the way for a career rooted in these disciplines and more.

I made a return to Cincinnati in 2021 after spending the early parts of my professional career teaching high school English, speech, and theatre in central Ohio. My work at UC began with the advising team in the Lindner College of Business. There, I discovered that working with my advisees was not just about helping them build schedules, but rather planting seeds for a life story waiting to blossom. This same mindset now supports my work with the UHP and my caseload where I strive to lead with C.A.R.E—an established set of principles used in every interaction to ensure as an advisor I Celebrate Diversity; Encourage Autonomy; Recognize Growth & Opportunity; and Demonstrate Empathy.

Beyond work, I love discovering ways to fuel my passions and celebrate the ‘old soul’ in me. My interests include literature, kayaking, vinyl records, game nights, coffee shops, and theatre! The love I have for each of these interests is connected to an indelible moment in my life, so finding ways to funnel them into my everyday experiences is special. In the months ahead, I am ecstatic to learn more about you, your ambitions, and your passions as we work together to share the story inside you waiting to be told!
