Critical Language Scholarship Info Session

The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a summer study abroad opportunity for American college and university students to learn languages essential to America’s engagement with the world. Each summer, students spend eight to ten weeks abroad studying one of 15 languages that are critical to America’s national security and economic prosperity. Dr. Jenny Hyest (NCA Director) and Saba Rehman (2023 UC Critical Language Scholar) will discuss award eligibility and benefits, application tips and process, and life as a scholar. Email nca@uc.edu to request an appointment to discuss this award.

Eligibility: Undergraduate and Graduate students (U.S. citizens) with a 3.0+ GPA;
session open to all.
