Claire McMahon
Claire McMahon is pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision. She has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Peace Studies, and Business from Xavier University. Claire is a practicing Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Career Coach, and Graduate Assistant for Accessibility Resources at the University of Cincinnati. As Graduate Assistant, she spearheaded a program linking registered students with Accessibility Resources to mental health support. Claire's research focuses on disability inclusion and career transitions, and she has presented at multiple national conferences on the subject. Currently Claire teaches courses on career, substance use, counseling, and cultural diversity. Claire's Fulbright research grant will focus on non-apparently disabled young adults who are not in education, employment, or training at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland.
