Nicholas Marx
Nicholas Marx is a graduate from UC’s College of Arts & Sciences program, majoring in French and minoring in Mathematics, with certificates in both Spanish and Business French. Prior to attending UC, he lived and worked in both Senegal and Spain for two years while studying Wolof and Spanish respectively. He is a College of Arts & Sciences Scholar, a member of the University Honors Program, and a Global Changemaker Scholarship Fellow through Global Citizen Year, a gap year program based in Oakland, CA.
Nicholas speaks four languages, English, Spanish, French, and Wolof. He recently returned from his second study abroad in Senegal, studying International Development and French at the West African Research Center in Dakar through the Boren Scholarship Program. Nicholas hopes to work on US infrastructure projects abroad and US foreign policy through the US Foreign Service or the US Africa Bureau in Washington.
