Olivia Haines
Olivia Haines graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Neurobiology and Psychology as well as a Certificate in Medical Humanities this past May. During her time at UC, she held various director positions in multiple different organizations, including TEDxUCincinnati and her sorority, Phi Sigma Rho. Olivia also worked at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, conducting multiple neuroscience research projects as a student researcher. In 2022, she presented her lab's preliminary research findings, titled "Electrophysiology Markers in Speech Processing in Extremely and Very Preterm Infants", and was awarded an honorable mention for her work. Olivia is also a life-long musician, working as a keyboardist and vocalist throughout her time at UC.
This past year, Olivia has been working as a medical scribe at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and as a barista while preparing to apply for medical school this upcoming cycle. She hopes to one day become a pediatric neurologist and return to Cincinnati to provide care.
