Solomon Carr

Solomon Carr is a transfer student who is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and culture.  He is married to Abigail Carr, and they are both in attendance at an Eastern Orthodox Christian Church.  He has been working blue collar jobs since his graduation from high school in 2015 before pursuing higher education at the online university Eastgate community college and then at University of Cincinnati.  He plans to use his formal education and private studies in the Arabic language to be an Arabic translator to increase understanding and engagement between people from English and Arabic speaking backgrounds, and to continue his studies of South West Asia with a related graduate degree program.
