Your Bearcat Card Gives You Purchasing Power
The Bearcat Card is the same as your UCID, and is used as a credential for campus access such as dining centers, residence halls, parking and libraries. Many students also use the Bearcat Card to make purchases via the Bearcat Card account. Once funds have been added, the Bearcat Card provides purchasing power on and off campus without having to carry cash or credit cards.

Families, Learn the Benefits of the Bearcat Card
Four major benefits for depositing money to your Bearcat Card account:
- Convenience: most students carry their UCID with them at all times so you can be at ease knowing that they are covered.
- Simplicity: students and parents can deposit money online 24/7, using a credit or debit card.
- Versatility: the Bearcat Card can be used to purchase course materials, supplies, food, pay for laundry and much more. Students can use the card on and off campus.
- Easily managed: money rolls over from semester to semester
And it's safe, too! If your student loses their card, they can disable it quickly online.
