The Package Center + Mail will receive packages/mail for students living on campus in selected University residence halls during the academic year. Due to the high volume of packages/mail received on a daily basis, the following policy will be enforced:
- Package Center will hold packages/mail for a total of 96 hours.
- Packages/mail will be held for 48 hours in lockers and then moved to the Package Center Service Desk for an additional 48 hours.
- After the allotted 96 hours, any unclaimed packages/mail, will be Returned To Sender (RTS).
- For special circumstances, arrangements may be approved for additional holding subject to preapproval.
- Packages/mail received prior to the start of the semester will begin their 96-hour hold period on the first day of classes.
On-campus residential students in the listed locations should have packages/mail sent to the Package Center+Mail.
On-campus residential students includes anyone living in the following communities:
- Bellevue Gardens
- Calhoun Hall
- Campus Recreation Center Hall
- Dabney Hall
- Daniels Hall
- Marian Spencer Hall
- Morgens Hall
- Schneider Hall
- Scioto Hall
- Siddall Hall
- Stratford Heights
- Turner Hall
- University Park Apartments
No, at this time, the Package Center+Mail is for on-campus residential students only. Check the Residence Hall Addresses to find the address you should send your package/mail too!
Your UC Central Login, or username (or “6+2”), is usually the first six letters of your last name followed by your first and middle initials. There are exceptions in cases of common names or users without a middle initial.
It is also the the letters/numbers preceding "@" in your UC email address.
Residence hall address should be used for all local deliveries such as Instacart, Kroger Delivery, Doordash, Grubhub, and restaurant delivery. Residence hall addresses can be found on the Housing Communities page and selecting the hall where the delivery should go.
Bearcats Package Center+Mail should be used for packages/mail only.
- Bearcats Package Center+Mail is a business address, and accepts deliveries Monday-Friday at the Tangeman University Center loading dock.
- Please choose a delivery day Monday-Friday.
- In the special instructions area, communicate that the package should be delivered to the Tangeman University Center loading dock.
- Amazon Packages: You can also choose to have your Amazon packages delivered directly to the local Amazon Store, 241 Calhoun St, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
First-class mail and letters should be sent to the Bearcats Package Center+Mail.

If picking up from a locker, you'll need the email notification received indicating the package/mail is ready for pickup.

Lost pickup codes can be reissued at the Service Desk. You must present UCID.
You will have 48 hours to pick the package up from the locker. After 48 hours, unclaimed package(s) will be removed from the lockers and students can receive their package from the Bearcats Package Center+Mail Service Desk. You will be required to present your UCID to claim the package(s).

No. All on-campus residential students for the halls and apartments listed on this page should use the Bearcats Package Center+Mail address for packages/mail.
Students are responsible for transporting packages received at the Bearcats Package Center+Mail.

Yep, that means your package was received by the facility, now we need some time to process and get it into a locker. You will receive an email from packagecenter@uc.edu when your package is ready to be picked up from the Bearcats Package Center+Mail
You should check the tracking number and confirm if/when it was delievered. If it has been delivered to the proper address (2715 Bearcat Way, Cincinnati OH 45219-3536), and you haven't recieved an email from packagecenter@uc.edu yet, please contact us.
We recommend you send your packages via USPS in Corryville or at FedEx Office on Calhoun. Regular stamped mail may be dropped at your residence hall Service Center.
Leaving Campus During Winter Break?
You are encouraged to have all packages/mail sent directly to the address at which you’ll be residing during the break (Dec. 14 – Jan. 11, 2025). Also remind friends and family so they don’t send packages/mail that will arrive after you leave.
Bearcats Package Center+Mail will still accept packages/mail during the winter break, following the BPC receiving policy. Packages/mail arriving during the winter break must be picked up within 96 hours. After the allotted 96 hours, any unclaimed packages/mail will be Returned to Sender (RTS).
Bearcats Package Center+Mail will have limited hours during the winter break. Break hours will be posted here once announced.
For residents moving off campus/out of the area at the end of spring semester, packages + mail received on or before May 1, 2025 will be returned to the sender if not picked up by end of day, May 12, 2025.
