A Stylish Slide Show: Students Get Set for Annual Fashion Show
On June 13, the University of Cincinnati will host the region's premiere runway fashion show, displaying "wears" that are out of this world.
View this slide show of UC College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP)students at work as they get ready for the event.
On the day of the event, the entire campus community can catch the fashion show in a Webcast that will be available via a link on the DAAPWorks page. That Webcast will be available as the show starts at 8 p.m., Friday, June 13.
In addition, the UC fashion show will air on Cincinnati's downtown Fountain Square jumbotron at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14.
UC's professionally modeled, choreographed and lighted show is sponsored by Macy's Inc.

UC alum visits campus to teach students about footwear design

A 2011 graduate of design, UC alum Charley Hudak has seen his career trajectory go from intern to creative director for Tiger Woods' new athletic footwear brand, Sun Day Red. While he may run with the biggest cat in golf, Hudak doesn't forget his Bearcat roots and comes back each summer to teach youth about footwear design at DAAP Camps.
