UC Homecoming Activities Close Uptown Streets
University of Cincinnati Homecoming activities this weekend feature the parade and pep rally uptown at the UC campus on Friday, Oct. 14, and the football game versus the University of Louisville taking place downtown at Paul Brown Stadium at noon on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Around the UC campus, some streets will close on Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m. Traffic and parking on other streets will be restricted.
Both Calhoun St. and Clifton Ave. will be closed Friday evening. Calhoun St. will be closed from 6:00 p.m. until approximately 8:15 p.m. Clifton Ave. will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 8:15 p.m. Martin Luther King Dr. will remain open but with traffic restricted to one lane eastbound and one lane westbound throughout this period. Parking on Calhoun will be prohibited after 4 p.m. and on both Clifton and MLK after 5:00 p.m.
Jefferson Ave. will not be closed or restricted but is expected to carry significantly more traffic due to the other closures.
It is expected that traffic and parking will return to normal conditions after 8:15 p.m.
