Helping Hands Volunteers Requested for Move-in
Helping Hands is preparing for its 16th year of assisting new Bearcats as they move into their residence halls, an exciting time for students and their families.
We hope you will extend your support and hospitality this year by becoming a Helping Hands volunteer. We ask for a three to four-hour shift and we certainly appreciate any amount of time you can provide.
Dates and locations:
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 17:
Calhoun Hall, Dabney Hall
,
Turner/Schneider Halls, Morgens Hall, and CRC
THURSDAY, AUGUST 18:
Daniels Hall, Siddall Hall
,
Stratford Heights, University Park Apartments, and Scioto Hall
The halls listed in italics are the halls where the most help is needed. Please consider this when registering as a volunteer. We will make every effort to assign volunteers to their preferred hall. However, we may need to adjust assignments to ensure coverage.
Volunteers will meet with their hall coordinator on
Wednesday, August 10, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in CenterCourt Dining Center
to review the hall opening plans and receive their Helping Hands t-shirt. Schedules and assignments will be distributed as well.
In appreciation, all volunteers and coordinators will receive a
free lunch at CenterCourt or MarketPointe@Siddall
on the day worked and a
free day pass to the Campus Recreation Center
on a day of their choice.
We hope you can join us as we personally thank each new Bearcat for choosing UC. To get started, click on the link below. You will be prompted to login. If you are new to this registration system, you will be asked to create an account. The prompt will ask for your email and a password.
