UC College of Law welcomes prospective students for fall open house

First day of classes for Collge of Law. Professor Ann Hubbard goes over how to learn law during orienation.

The University of Cincinnati’s College of Law admissions team is hosting its fall Open House from 12:30-4:00 p.m., Friday, Nov 9.  All prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the college and all it has to offer. Students and their guests will:

  • Meet College of Law Dean Verna Williams and learn about her impressive legal career
  • Hear from law faculty about their careers and teaching philosophy
  • Learn what it takes to get into law school at an interactive forum
  • Meet current students and learn more about law school life
  • Learn about the importance of building a professional portfolio starting Day One of law school with the team from the Center for Professional Development
  • Meet alumni, attend a mock class, tour the law school and more!

The effort to ease hunger comes as UC and Xavier ready for the Crosstown Shootout. Nationally, about 23% of college students on campuses experience food insecurity.
