Healthy UC is a collaborative whose members represent various campus units which support faculty, staff and student well-being at the University of Cincinnati.

Current collaborative members include representatives from Campus Recreation, the Division of Student Affairs (CAPS and Student Wellness Center), the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (Health Promotion and Education), Human Resources (Benefits and Be Well UC) and University Health Services.

  • Mission: Educate, support and empower our community to make healthy choices while building an overall culture of well-being.
  • Vision: Become a community that inspires and supports healthy living.

The overarching goal of the Healthy UC collaborative is to encourage well-being as a part of the culture and experience throughout our campuses, create new and enhanced health and well-being focused programs and initiatives connected to the Next Lives Here academic excellence pathway, address topics such as mental well-being, nutrition and active lifestyle choices and improve utilization of current health and wellness-related resources and services.

Get Involved

Interested in building a culture of well-being on campus which supports UC faculty, staff and student? The Healthy UC collaborative is looking for faculty, staff and students to join its working groups.  Meetings will be held on a monthly basis.  Its Working Groups are: Data and Assessment; Marketing and Communications; Culture and Environment; and Programming and Education.

UC College-Conservatory of Music Interim Dean Jonathan Kregor has announced the addition of Kirill Kuzmin to the college’s faculty of distinguished performing and media arts experts, researchers and educators. A Grammy-nominated collaborative pianist and vocal coach, Kuzmin begins his new role as Associate Professor of Opera/Vocal Coaching on Aug. 15, 2024.
