Call for speakers: Planning for Lift! 2021 now underway
By Lisa Jonas
Can you inspire people? Would you like to share your valuable expertise with Goering Center members and other leaders from the business community? Your opportunity could be Oct. 8, 2020 at the second-annual Lift! event.
The Goering Center launched the Lift! series in October of this year, showcasing local thought leaders in 20-minute, insight-rich segments. Featured speakers included Deni Tato, Joe Morgan, Sonya Hall, Angel Beets, Neil Hoynes and Peter Olmsted, covering everything from hiring trends and organizational design, to communicating effectively and achieving game-changing growth.
Planning for Lift! 2021 is now underway and interested speakers are asked to reach out to Lisa Jonas, Goering Center, directly to discuss the opportunity. The planning team is finalizing next year’s theme and format and once complete, the Goering Center will officially launch an online Call for Speakers in first quarter.
Here’s what members had to say about the Goering Center's first Lift! event:
Lift! exceeded my expectations to say the least. I've been away from any involvement from the Goering Center for quite a few years for no good reason and this was a powerful welcome back.
Loved the short 20-minute sessions. You could stay attentive. Great topics and great speakers.
Inspired. You did it again. Great programming!
