Hoxworth Blood Center kicks off second year of 'Cincinnati Favorites' blood drive tour
Celebrate your love of all things Cincy and save a life during the process. Hoxworth Blood Center is bringing back the hugely popular "Cincinnati Favorites" summer blood drive tour for a second year, beginning in July.
Hoxworth is teaming up with Skyline Chili, Frisch’s, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Busken Bakery, Coffee Emporium, LaRosa’s, Aglamesis Bros. and The BonBonerie for a series of blood drives held throughout the summer.
Each donor will receive a “Cincinnati Favorites” t-shirt as well as a special gift from one of the drive sponsors.
“Last year’s inaugural Cincinnati Favorites blood drive tour was a huge success, and we are excited to celebrate our best-loved Cincinnati institutions, as well as add a few more partners this year,” says Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “While the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed the kick-off of this year’s drive, we’re thrilled that we can still support our area businesses and save lives at the same time.”
In addition to the limited-edition “Cincinnati Favorites” t-shirt, donors will receive a special gift from the participating sponsors at their specific blood drive:
- A voucher for a free Big Boy from Frisch’s
- A voucher for a free two-topping personal pizza from LaRosa’s
- A coupon for a free dozen donuts from Busken
- A free ice cream cone from Graeter’s
- A voucher for a free cheese coney from Skyline Chili
- A free coffee and baked good from Coffee Emporium
- A goodie bag of desserts from The BonBonerie
- A voucher for a pint of ice cream from Aglamesis Bros.
The Cincinnati Favorites blood drive tour will run throughout the summer. Visit www.hoxworth.org/cincyfavorites to find a participating location near you.
