UC faculty members Blevins and Calfano speak to private companies banning Parler
University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences professors Jeffrey Blevins and Brian Calfano both spoke to WLWT after Google, Apple, Amazon banned the Parler app.
“Twitter, Apple and Google are taking responsibility and saying we don't want to be associated with this type of content,” said Blevins, who is head of the Deparment of Journalism, where Calfano is an associate professor.
Both hold dual appointments in other departments, to include UC Departments of Communications and Political Science.
