Cleveland.com, Cincinnati Business Courier: UC online programs pull rank
U.S. News: UC home to top online MBA in Ohio, prominence in criminal justice, IT, nursing and more
U.S. News and World Report's just-released rankings of online programs takes on new importance amid the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the need for online excellence.
Statewide news media (Cleveland.com) noted how the University of Cincinnati took the top spot in Ohio among online MBA programs and also noted UC's online master's of nursing for its No. 14 national ranking and the online master's of engineering for its top 50 ranking.
The Cincinnati Business Courier noted the No. 11 ranking earned by UC's online master’s in criminal justice program. UC also ranked in the top 100 in several other categories and was the only local post-secondary school to receive “best” nods for its online master’s degree programs in IT, engineering and nursing.
As highlighted in UC News, factors like student engagement, faculty credentials, and student services and technology earned the tollowing Top 100 recognition:
- No. 11 online master’s in criminal justice (No. 7 best for veterans)
- No. 12 online master’s in computer information technology
- No. 14 online master’s in nursing (No. 5 best for veterans)
- No. 21 online master’s in business (non-MBA)
- No. 46 online master’s in education
- No. 50 online master’s in engineering
- No. 51 online MBA
- No. 75 among the best online bachelor’s
