Gov. DeWine appoints new trustee

Jill T. McGruder, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Western & Southern Financial Group, has been appointed to a nine-year term on the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, effective Feb. 25, 2021-Jan. 1, 2030.

“We look forward to welcoming Jill McGruder to our board. She brings vast community involvement and business experience that will be beneficial as we continue to work to advance the University of Cincinnati,” said Chairman of the Board Ronald D. Brown.

“UC is fortunate to have a leader of Jill’s caliber stepping up to serve as a trustee. On top of her outstanding professional career, she has been an active volunteer in a wide range of non-profit and civic organizations spanning the arts, women’s leadership, family and children’s wellness, social justice, and citizenship – all of which are echoed in the role our university plays in individual lives and the community,” said President Neville G. Pinto.
