There are multiple ways to safeguard your health by taking medications correctly explains UC's medications expert Michael Hegener, associate professor and director of the Wuest Family Pharmacy Practice Skills Center at UC’s James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy.

According to an article in Blink Health, where Hegener is cited, taking medications on schedule, storing prescriptions at the right temperature and taking doses according to the directions are just a few of the ways that patients can safeguard their health.
