Political scientist David Niven weighs in on DeWine’s political standing
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s handling of the state during the pandemic could threaten his future run for governor, a UC expert tells the Cincinnati Enquirer.
"There’s an awful lot of people in his party who consider his leadership the last year to be an unforgivable sin," says David Niven, a political science associate professor at the University of Cincinnati.
Niven teaches American politics in UC's College of Arts and Sciences and conducts research on campaigns, political communication and death penalty policy.
