Celebrate National Intern Day
UC hosts 2021 National Intern Day Video and Photo Competition
National Intern Day is July 29, and the University of Cincinnati is hosting a video and photo competition to celebrate the unique internships and amazing employers that help prepare our students for life after graduation.
To celebrate, we need your help! Share a photo or short video (one minute or less) of yourself at your work site telling us why you intern or what you love about your employer. Video and photo submissions posted to Instagram, are due by Thursday, July 29, and winners will be announced the week of Aug. 1.

Video tips
Presentation
Be creative: the more creative, the better! Having your supervisor or co-workers make an appearance in the video is a plus.
Delivery
Make sure to speak clearly and keep your remarks simple and straightforward. Check your speaking volume and make sure you’re not too far from the camera.
Filming
The video can be shot using a cellphone. Just make sure sound and video quality is good. Check your surroundings, make sure anything that is in the frame of your video is appropriate. Avoid background noise like electronics buzzing or machines running that may distract from the video.
