President/CEO of ice cream chain to discuss recent growth of brand in free event Nov. 3
Graeter's President/CEO Rich Graeter
The Graeter’s name is synonymous with small-batch, handcrafted ice cream and business success in Greater Cincinnati. The company was founded in 1870 and has thrived over the past 150 years by building on its strengths and staying true to the ideals and processes created by the founding generation.
In the next edition of the UC Blue Ash College Entrepreneur Speaker Series, Rich Graeter, president and CEO, will talk about the company’s history, its recent growth, and future plans to expand the company’s iconic brand.
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 3 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in Muntz Auditorium on the UC Blue Ash campus. It is free and open to everyone.
Since becoming president and CEO in 2007, Graeter has worked with his partners to revitalize the company's brand identity to reflect the quality that consumers have come to expect from its super-premium, hand-packed ice cream, while also creating a cohesive look for its ice cream, candy and bakery products. At the ESS event, you can learn more about how he has built a successful online store, why he is making new investments in brick-and-mortar locations and what’s next in his plans to grow the Graeter’s brand.
The UC Blue Ash College Entrepreneur Speaker Series is hosted by Kent Lutz, associate professor of economics and finance at UC Blue Ash. It’s an interactive event that offers the audience the opportunity to ask questions. It is also followed by a free reception with the featured guest that will include free Graeter’s ice cream and cookies (while supplies last).
All recommended COVID-safe protocols will be in place for this event and attendees will be required to wear a mask while indoors on the UC Blue Ash campus.
The UC Blue Ash College Entrepreneur Speaker Series is free, but seating is limited.
