WVXU: Shoplifting by organized retail crime rings is on the rise

UC’s retail crime expert Karl Langhorst speaks to the increase in shoplifting

A rash of retail theft has made the national news of late, but it’s a year-round problem that is just getting worse, says Karl Langhorst, an adjunct professor in UC’s School of Criminal Justice.

Langhorst teaches courses on organized retail crime and corporate security.
