UC College of Law celebrates progress on new digs

Dean Verna Williams speaks with journalists about Law’s new home

Fox 19 News interviewed Dean Verna Williams who was on hand to mark the ceremonial beam signing for the new UC College of Law building Wednesday, November 10. The $45.6 million project is allowing for complete renovation of the former Lindner College of Business Building. The 116,635-square-foot structure is located in the heart of campus.

Planners have reinvented and completely reconfigured the existing building to create a state-of-the-art law school designed to meet the technological and specialized needs for 412 law students and 78 faculty and staff in the UC College of Law.

About 70 guests joined Williams for an update on the structure which is 50% complete. Those interested also got a tour of the new digs which should be complete by August 2022.  Williams also spoke with the Cincinnati Business Courier for an online story about the new building.
