UC Staff Senate election May 2-13
Vote now for your representatives for the 2022-24 term
The Staff Senate election runs until Friday, May 13, 2022, at 5 p.m.
All UC staff not principally charged with teaching, including part-time and full-time staff, are eligible to vote using their UC credentials.
With 90 candidates running for 35 open positions, take the time to review all candidates as you prepare for voting. Because senators are elected by VP area and as At-Large, staff should consider all candidates in all VP areas when casting up to 35 votes in the election.
“The most important role that Staff Senate plays is to be the voice of staff.” Heidi Pettyjohn, current chair of the UC Staff Senate, went on to emphasize “that voice is most effective when Senate represents the diversity of the identity and talent of our impressive workforce.”
Vote now for representatives for the Senate’s fourth full term.
Staff Senate is an advisory body to the UC President and university administration. With representation among colleges, divisions, and departments, the UC Staff Senate serves the university by promoting, protecting, and representing the interests and perspective of university staff. It additionally serves staff through education and appreciation.
