Pam Johnson smoked cigarettes for 45 years. She quit the day she had surgery for stage 3 lung cancer. When standard therapies failed and her cancer spread to the liver, she turned to the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute to consider experimental treatments only available through clinical trials.
