Ariel Quartet joined by award-winning pianist in Nov. 21 concert

The Ariel Quartet, UC College-Conservatory of Music’s String Quartet-in-Residence, continues its season Tuesday, Nov 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Werner Recital Hall. Alessio Bax, the award-winning Italian pianist, joins Ariel for the program’s finale: Dvořák’s Piano Quintet in A major, widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of the form. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office.

CSO and CCM announce 2020-22 class of Diversity Fellows

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) have selected five outstanding musicians for their next class of CSO/CCM Diversity Fellows. Born out of a mutual desire to help American orchestras be more inclusive and to better represent the communities they serve, the performance fellowship program was launched in 2015 with a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Ariel Quartet closes season with Brahms and Beethoven on March 21

The Ariel Quartet closes their 2022-23 season Tuesday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Werner Recital Hall. The emotional program, centered around the Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor and featuring faculty artist Soyeon Kate Lee, also includes works by Beethoven and Mendelssohn.
