UC program and Siemens breaking educational barriers for students with disabilities

Opening the pathways to STEM education for more people with a variety of experiences and backgrounds is important for spurring innovation, increasing inclusivity and combating unemployment in technical fields. As the world continues to become more entrenched in science and technology, STEM-related fields continue to grow and require more technical workers.

In the News: CCM performs at New York's Carnegie Hall

January 16, 2024

UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) students and Broadway alumni took the stage at Carnegie Hall to present a one-night-only performance and fundraiser to help support the next generation of performing and media artists. The January 14 event honored CCM alumnus Stephen Flaherty while also raising money for CCM scholarships and educational initiatives.

Free Wi-Fi, work area coming to Greater Cincinnati

St. Lawrence Park in Price Hill now has free Wi-Fi and a furnished outdoor space for community members to access digital needs. The space is part of The Nodes Project, which stands for “Neighborhoods of Design Engagement": a collaboration between UC DAAP communication designers and community entities.

We've reached the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 lockdowns, and when specific dates are associated with trauma, it can cause what is called "the anniversary effect," whereby the body and mind can respond negatively.
