Returning after a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, this nine-time Tony Award winning musical adds numerous new stops for its 2023-24 season.

The second episode of CCMONSTAGE Online is now available for on demand viewing. Originally broadcast on Friday, Feb. 12, this 30-minute-long virtual concert features CCM string quartet-in-residence the Ariel Quartet collaborating with master’s degree students Cristian Diaz and Denielle Wilson, who are also both second-year participants in CCM’s innovative Diversity Fellowship initiative with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) students and Broadway alumni took the stage at Carnegie Hall to present a one-night-only performance and fundraiser to help support the next generation of performing and media artists. The January 14 event honored CCM alumnus Stephen Flaherty while also raising money for CCM scholarships and educational initiatives.

Cincinnati-based contemporary chamber group All of the Above recently released its much-anticipated debut album, Double Portrait, which is available for purchase via Amazon. The album features works by two American composers, Edward Smaldone and UC College-conservatory of Music’s Norman Dinerstein Professor of Composition Scholar Douglas Knehans, and the ensemble itself is comprised entirely of CCM alumni.

The UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Wind Symphony releases a new recording, "Grand Pianola Music" on August 20 through Klavier Records. Featuring works by George Gershwin and John Adams, the recording showcases piano soloists Michael Chertock, Giuliano Graniti and Fabio Menchetti.

The Ariel Quartet returns to the stage 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Robert J. Werner Recital Hall at CCM. Titled “Cetera Desunt: The rest is missing,” the program features the eponymous string quartet by Lera Auerbach, as well as the composer’s string quartet No. 10, “Frozen Dreams” and Schubert’s beloved “Trout” Quintet.
