UC Family Engineering Academy brings labs to your living room

The University of Cincinnati Family Engineering Academy is offering a five-week educational summer learning program for K-12 students and their families to explore engineering together, including at-home experiments, live online discussions and video sharing. A different area of engineering is featured each week in this interactive, informative and fun experience designed to inspire the next generation of engineers and STEM professionals.

High school students learn Magic of Cosmetic Chemistry

Cincinnati-area high school students made their first emulsions and learned about potential careers as part of the Magic of Cosmetic Chemistry workshop hosted by the University of Cincinnati’s James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy’s cosmetic science program.

UC Blue Ash professor finds inspiration in documents from nation’s troubled past

August 21, 2020

A 1925 property deed owned by her late grandfather inspired Rhonda Pettit to address racial segregation and institutional racism in her poem ‘A Deed Supreme.’ It is one of two poems by Pettit included in the Anthology of Appalachian Writers Crystal Wilkinson Volume XII, which was recently released by the Shepherd University’s Center for Appalachian Studies and Communities.
