Service learning allows UC students to experience another side of philanthropy

UC boasts one of the largest service-learning programs in the world, providing over 5,000 students with curricular-based service-oriented opportunities to apply what they are learning in the classroom to the betterment of the community. Service learning is currently working with nonprofit Magnified Giving to teach UC students the importance of philanthropy.

UC Family Weekend returns as parents and siblings of Bearcats drop in

University of Cincinnati Family Weekend has attracted more than 3,100 participants, nearly twice what was expected, for events designed to introduce families to university life. The UC game versus Temple University, game pep rallies and a slate of activities planned Saturday and Sunday are part of the weekend agenda.

CCM students create costumes for May We Help's Halloween Festival

Theatre Design and Production students from UC’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) are using their creative expertise and skills to build customized costumes for May We Help’s annual Halloween Festival. The charity organization connected CCM’s students to children with disabilities who need specialized costumes built to fit their power chairs.
