Georgetown University's David Cole, a prominent voice nationally on constitutional law issues, will visit the UC College of Law on March 1 to discuss "Enemy Aliens and American Freedoms: Civil Liberties in the War on Terrorism." The event will also be available for viewing via Webcast.

Victory has its price, and after last year, when the UC College of Law s team of Susan Coan and Patricia Foster won the Midwest Regionals and then the National Representation in Mediation Competition, UC will follow the tradition of the winning school hosting its regional competition the following year. This year's Midwest Regional will take place at the College of Law on March 13-14.

Smoothing the way for law students to be of service to the community is the ultimate goal for the third annual Race Judicata, a 5k walk/run that serves as the chief fund-raiser for the UC College of Law's Public Interest Law Group. The March 14 race helps fund stipends that law students use so they can work in unpaid positions that benefit the public, the poor and the underserved.
