The University of Cincinnati’s 1819 Innovation Hub buzzed with energy over the weekend as around 200 college and high school students from across the Midwest came together to solve problems and create solutions. As part of the 11th annual RevolutionUC hackathon, students from 50 schools convened with industry leaders for a weekend of code, community and self-improvement.
At the University of Cincinnati, our faculty, staff and students are driven each day to solve problems that matter. Creating new products and services is the process of innovation. Transferring the resulting intellectual property from the creator to a company that can develop the idea is the process of technology transfer.

Geoffrey Pinski joined the University of Cincinnati as a full-time employee in 2007, but that's just one milestone in his journey at UC. The son of a physics professor, Pinski first came to UC in 1987 when his dad was hired. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics with a minor in mathematics in 1992, followed by a Juris Doctor degree in 2006.
