University to Streamline Information Technology Programs

Starting in the fall, the University of Cincinnati will simplify and streamline a number of its Information Technology programs. Instead of six overlapping programs once offered by three academic units, the university will offer a single full-time and a single part-time associate-degree and baccalaureate-degree option out of the College of Applied Science.

McMicken Professor Named Cincinnati Chemist of the Year

For the 24th time since 1950, a UC professor has been named Cincinnati Chemist of the Year by the Cincinnati Section of the American Chemical Society. Tom Beck, a physical chemist with research interests in theoretical and computational chemistry, is the 2004 recipient of the award.

Feb. 17 "Culture and Conquest" Lecture Reflects Today's World

Hundreds Headed To UC To Contest 19th Annual Math Bowl

The Department of Mathematical Sciences out of the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences is sponsoring its 19th annual Math Bowl on March 6. About 300 students from 17 schools from around the region will come to campus to participate.
