UC College of Nursing students train on the latest telehealth technology at Maple Knoll Village in Springdale. The partnership between UC and Maple Knoll was recently recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

Lauren Prather, a graduate student in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the UC College of Allied Health Sciences, holds leadership positions in the National Black Association of Speech-Language and the UC Black Graduate and Professional Student Association. She helped bring the film "Talking Black in America" to UC as part of the University's observance of Black History Month.

University of Cincinnati students are providing job coaching to job-seekers in recovery at Cincinnati's Center for Addiction Treatment as part of a new service-learning project. The students learned through surveys they developed that the residents' biggest priority was returning to the workforce. They developed a curriculum for writing resumes, searching for jobs and filling out applications and put their plan into practice with one-on-one counseling sessions.
