Supreme Court of Ohio to hold Oral Arguments at UC College of Law
The Supreme Court of Ohio will hold oral arguments at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, 9 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in Room 160 of the new law building. The College of Law is located at 2925 Campus Green Drive. As part of its Off-Site Court Program, this live session brings together law students, high school students, and community members to learn about Ohio’s judicial system, seeing — first hand — how the court system works. Wednesday’s event marks the 81st session of Off-Site Court, which hails from the early days of Ohio’s statehood.
A summary of the cases to be heard can be found at Court News Ohio.
Public access to the argument via livestream begins at 9 a.m. on OhioChannel.org.
About the University of Cincinnati College of Law
Founded in 1833, the University of Cincinnati College of Law has the distinction of being the first law school west of the Alleghenies. From humble beginnings 190 years ago in a room above Timothy Walker’s law offices to its new home today, Cincinnati Law has been on the leading edge of legal education. Thousands of lawyers have graduated from the law school, and about one-third practice in the Greater Cincinnati community, working in all areas of the law.
