When she graduates in June 2004, Tricia Barraza will be the first on both sides of her family to earn a college degree. And earn it she has. Tricia works almost full-time while taking more than a full class load and contributing to community and school groups.

The University of Cincinnati School of Social Work is tops nationally in the impact of its research, according to the newest University Science Indicators guide. UC research was the most cited of any school from 1998-2002, according to the study, which also had Yale, North Carolina, Missouri and UCLA in the top five.
